A million thanks for the series.
The inlay covers of vol 1 & 2 seem to be incomplete though.
No photos of the bands' CDs in the balloons.
Is it normal?
In vol. 3, photos of the CDs are inlaid there...
Thanks anyway.
Amazing job, as usual with PPC. Long may you live...

Hi! from Spain
Congratulations for your fantastic Power Pop Blog. The selection from your last compilations is really great!
I'm looking for a long time ago the records from GREEN (First Album) and BRAD JONES (Gilt-Flake).
Could you help me, please? Many Thanks in advanced.
Best wishes for you and thanks again.

I don't see a link to Green in the list of artists. While you can't buy a CD of the first Green album (except used), I think you can buy the tracks at their myspace page,

I love this series that you are doing. I bought John Borack's book, and I've been looking for what I don't have. Your series is helping me enjoy the book that much more. Thanks again.

What this list allows is sampling some of the artists that are very hard to find elsewhere. For that and the other gifts, many thanks.

This is a great series...I particularly dig that David grahame track...I had never heard him before...excellent stuff..

Hey, just to let everyone know, the Squire albums have recently been reissued on CD (not the Big Smashes comp but the actual albums). Available on amazon.co.uk and maybe some other mail order places. All highly recommended...

I can not get the Part 2 link to work. Can you please check and see if the link is broken and re-up. This is a terrific post and I highly recommend the "Shake Some Action" book.

once shareonall is opened, you'll get a lot of popups, all you've got to do is to close all these popups and finally you'll have the proper shareonall window with the links

Ah, delightful. A mixture of songs I've loved for years along with artists I've Never Heard Of! This promises to introduce me to some new favorites.

Sadly, I'm only getting "part 2" of each edition. Rapidshare is making me wait... grrr.

But anyway, thanks!

The David Grahame track is phenomenal (as is the whole set). Anyone know where to find this CD or any of the ones other than Supergenius?

The tray artwork for Volume 3 says "two" on it, although the total time appears to be correct. This is a minor glitch in an otherwise superb series. Just thought you might want to fix it for posterity.

Share On All has apparently closed, making Part Two of this unavailale. Anyone have a record of the underlying zShare/Megaupload/Badongo links? Thanks in advance for any kindness. This collection is AMAZING! How could I have lived thru the 80s and missed so many of these artists?

Great underground pop list. My two favorite bands from the 80s were Sex Clark Five and LMNOP.

Looks like rapidshare deleted this file...so very bummed

Christmas is coming closer....any chance for a re-up of the Ultimate OPower Pop Series?
Kindest regards,
