NEIL HARRISON - ALL DRESSED UP & NOWHERE TO GO (1974)
Neil Harrison played John Lennon for 32 years in the tribute band "The Bootleg Beatles". he then became their manager.
In 1970, Neil Harrison released his first album with Driftwood on Decca. The album flopped and with years going has become a much sought-after LP fetching high (ridiculous) prices almost everywhere. Disappointed with music, Neil Harrison lived in London working as a van driver, but his recording demos allowed him to draw attention and signing a publishing contract. In 1972, he first released a single "Maybe I'm Lost Without You" on Sparks. In 1974, he was signed on Deram (Decca sub-label) and his first single was "Eyes In The Back Of My Head". The album "All Dressed Up And Nowhere To Go" followed the same year but didn't sell so well. Once again, the album became a rarity and is now selling for extremely ridiculous high prices. Just a shame that everybody can't afford to listen to this lost gem because the album is filled with plenty of beatlesque tunes and beatleisms. A must have (at least in FLAC format).
