Here we go again, you liked the first two editions of advent wall of sound, so this year it's gonna be the advent v.3 and from the 1st of December to the 24th of December, everyday you'll have to click on one slice of the image. Everyday, each compartment will show a new album never posted before on this blog. Each post will be available for just one day (or maybe two). Don't click on a part before the day or somebody could be hurt. Now you can enjoy the spirit of powerpop.

Angelo, I'm so happy to see you've done this again. After not having a cold for more than five years, I caught the Swine Flu at the end of November and was so sick and out of it at the first of December that I completely forgot the AWOS was due to begin. I missed the first three days, but got the rest. I've been feeling miserable the past few weeks, but listening to this year's gifts has certainly made my sick days more tolerable. I especially love day 13, which I bought when it was first released 30 years ago. I still have my original vinyl copy, but like a lot of vinyl records in the age of CDs and mp3s it doesn't get pulled out and played too often. The Advent copy has been getting one or two or more complete plays a day since it was posted. A classic! Love the rest of the gifts, too, many of which are new to me. Thanks for once again making "the most wonderful time of the year" even better.

Hi there:
I accidently found your blog while searching for Randell Kirsch's CD, "Near Life Experience."
About ten years ago, as a junior in high school, I got to hear Kirsch play on KFI in Los Angeles and fell in with with his music. I promptly lost that CD six months later, and as I moved away from Southern California to the Army and other places, I never forgot this songs. But the sad thing is, I can't find any of those songs, either.
I am interested in all of the songs on "Near Life Experience" as well as a song called "One Reason."
Would you happen to know where I can find these? I'd forever appreciation it. You don't know what it's like going around a decade with songs stuck in your head, but unable to play them.
