THE ADVENT WALL OF SOUND 2010
Here is the "4th Advent Wall of Sound", the first three editions having been quite successful. From the 1st of December to the 24th of December, everyday you'll have to click on one slice of the image. Everyday, each compartment will show a new album never posted before on this blog. Each post will be available for just one day (or maybe two). Don't click on a part before the day or somebody could be hurt. Now you can enjoy the spirit of powerpop. And feel free to comment everyday because i really don't know if there will be another Advent Wall of Sound next year.

Thanks for gifting us with "the Wall" for another year. I managed to miss the first day or two of posts in all the previous years, so as soon as I got a 2010 calender this year I marked "ADVENT WALL!!!" in bright red marker on the December 1st page... I'm been waiting all year! I'm really looking forward to the nice surprises that I'm sure the next few weeks will bring.

If you're running short on ideas (since you already posted a lot of the Top 200 list), maybe you could continue posting out-of-print Not Lame CDs, since the label's closed up now.

I can honestly say that I've looked forward to today since July. You first post has not disappointed!
Like others, I have occasionally missed days but I don't advocate leaving the posts up longer. I feel like it's a better gift when I know I had to work for it. The mindset of needing to remember to visit is what prompts me to stop in for all the rest of the year.
Last year I missed the first week, I made damn sure not to miss it this year. Thanks for all your efforts and the great music.
Hell, I've been waiting for this since 12/26/09! I hope that this isn't the end of the advent Wall, I got some fantastic music from it last year and, no doubt, expect the same this year! Thanks for all the hard work, Angelo!

Thank You so very much Angelo. I missed the first yar of this truly amazing x-mas adveture, alas. But... of the last three this just may have been the best, and that is solely thanks to Tommy Hoehn. Every time I think of the time I sold the vinyl-copy I kick myself numb and as I never have managed to get the jap-cd I am truly grateful for Your contribution to my wives worst nightmare. Those shelves are getting looong.... Merry x-mas to You and all readig this. AND..... KEEP ON ROCKING!!!!
