Jonathan Richman on french TV show "Houba Houba" hosted by Antoine de Caunes. He sings the never recorded "Tahitian Hop" plus "Abdul & Cleopatra". Both songs are subtitled in french. As a bonus there's an interview with Antoine de Caunes.Note: This "XviD4 PAL" video has been transferred from the original VHS taped in 1982. Lesser quality rips can be watched on YouTube.

Fantastic ! I remember seeing this show on French TV when I as 17. It was a shock seeing it then, it's been a shock watching it again for the first time just now, some 25 years afterwards. It has cheered me up for (at least) the next 25 years.
