BULLWINKEL GANDHI - KUNG POW! (1996)
If I tell you North Carolina, and Fab Four Power Pop, Jamie Hoover and the 'tones might be the first name coming to your mind, but actually there's another power pop genius hailing from North Carolina and his name is Ronald Tucker. Ronald has fronted many live bands as singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He also has 8 CDs under his belt with such bands as Bullwinkel Gandhi ("Swirlygig" 1994 and "Kung Pow" 1996), Poppy Nosh ("In The Garden" 1996, "Sour Apples" 1998 and "We Turn On" 2006), Stratocruiser ("Stratocruiser" 2002) , Clone Farm Carnival ("Clone Farm Carnival" 2002) and Wonderwall ("Delicate Balance" 2007). He has worked with local legends Mitch Easter and Chris Stamey on various projects. He plays guitar, keyboards, and engineers. "Clone Farm Carnival" is presently available at ITUNES, and CD Baby. You can visit Ronald Tucker's YouTube page here.

Anything with the remotest connection to Mitch Easter will always be ok with me. Thanks
Chris
Thanks a lot!
1. Can't wait to hear this.
2. But talking about Southern U.S. power pop, does anyone have this Big Star 4-CD "I Got Kinda Lost Deluxe" thing that's floating around in the torrent world? I (and I am sure others) would love to hear that.
Ace K.
Great album! Thanks for posting.
As this record is WAY out of print I am happy to have people download it. Please check out Stratocruiser (but BUY it). Making this album was a joy. Good people, good sounds.

I just noticed the cover art for this album was copped from a great Gene Krupa 78 RPM album cover!
Hi Angelo,
Any chance that this could be made available again please, and even better if it could be done in FLAC. Plus if you are feeling generous any other Ronald Tucker's other releases.
Thanks for everything you do,
cheers,
Anthony
