THE ROMANTICS (Spider Records SPDR 101) (1977)

Wally Palmer, Jimmy Marino, Richard Cole and Mike Skill released their first 7" on Spider Records, the privately-pressed single was a complete sell-out and was reissued a year later. In November 1977, the group went into the studio with Capitol Records producer John Carter to cut some demos. Later they met with Bob Segarini and recorded the songs that can be heard on the Bomp 7" and the Quark album "Midwest Pop Explosion".
