RANDELL KIRSCH - NEAR LIFE EXPEARIENCE (1999)
Randell Kirsch formed The Pranks with Jeffrey Foskett and Bo Fox in 1979, they recorded an album worth of demos never officially released. Then, Randell Kirsch worked with Jan & Dean, The Beach Boys, Roger McGuinn and the Cowsills to name a few.

Signed to a solo artist deal with IRS Records in 1987, Kirsch brought wife LuAnn Olson and Chris Hickey on board to make it a band deal resulting in the 1988 release "Show Of Hands". Solo releases since then include "Poetry From The Burning Deck" (cassette only), and "Near Life Experience" that was first released as "Near Life Expeareance" on CD-R in 1998.

There are a few differences between the two editions:

1998 Edition: Track #11 is titled "Black Man" lasts 22'20 and has two hidden songs "I Will Follow" and "True Love Again" (vocals only) - the songs can be found after 14'45 of silence

1999 Edition: Track #11 is titled "Success Is 9-10ths Of The Law" (which is actually "Black Man" as it was named on the advance copy) lasts 46'01 and has four hidden songs "I Will Follow", "True Love Again" (vocals only), an untitled instrumental - the songs can be found after 17 minutes of silence. Then there's again 20 minutes of silence and a spoken outro can be heard.

So, i have edited the track #11 and split it, therefore removing all the lenghty silence parts.

NOTE
Randell Kirsch re-recorded for "Near Life Experience" five songs that were previously available on the Pranks Warner Demos: "Get Set" - "Something On The Order Of Love" - "The Last Ideal" - "True Love Again" - "Expectations".

Finally, the hidden song "I Will Follow" can also be found on the Jeffrey Foskett album "Twelve and Twelve" (2000) credited to Jeffrey Foskett with Randell Kirsch - though the mix sounds different.
