Vince Taylor almost edged out the Faeries with "Brand New Cadillac" but Pledging my love was boring. Gotta go with the Faeries on this round.

Surprised how both singles were really quite retro. But the Fairies' b side less so. And their 60s garagey sound was always in vogue.
The Taylor 50s feel ultimately has to lose out, especially in 1976 - cmon punk was already upon us.
